The blade of this sword was forged shihozume technique with three types of steel. At the edge of the blade has been used tamahagane high carbon content, the core is made of soft iron and cover the side of tamahagane medium carbon content mixed with iron. Tamahagane comes from melting, we made a large Tatara furnace in Biskupin in 2008 and iron we smelting in 2010. This blade has about 6000 layers.
